DO Impact – Digital and Data-Driven Opportunities to strengthen the Social Economy Impact

Project

The DO Impact project is a forward-thinking initiative aimed at empowering SMEs and enabling organizations in the Proximity and Social Economy (PSE) sector by integrating digital solutions and data-driven approaches.

Its ultimate goals are to:

  • Enhance Sustainability and Efficiency: Help PSE actors improve their operational capabilities and environmental impact.
  • Maximize Social Value: Increase the positive impact for beneficiaries and users through innovative practices.
  • Strengthen Competitiveness: Equip organizations with advanced skills, tools, and networks to improve their fundraising capabilities and market positioning.

Key Components of the DO Impact Project:

  • Analysis of the PSE Ecosystem: A comprehensive evaluation to understand current challenges, capacities, and opportunities in the sector.
  • DO Impact Strategy: A structured and flexible strategy featuring:
  • Modular digital and data-driven programs to boost skills, access resources, and foster networks.
  • Tailored methodologies addressing local and regional priorities for maximum relevance and impact.
  • Capacity Building: Focused training and resources for enabling organizations, who will then cascade these benefits to local PSE SMEs.
  • Twin Transition Support: Aiming for a dual focus on sustainability (green transition) and digital transformation.
  • Impact Monitoring and Dissemination: Continuous evaluation of project outcomes and widespread sharing of methodologies and results for replication and scalability across the PSE sector.

Central Thesis:

The project is grounded in the belief that combining digital technologies, traditional approaches, and advanced data management creates innovative pathways to address societal needs. By leveraging these technologies, PSE actors can identify social issues with greater precision, innovate and scale interventions and securely manage and utilize data to address global challenges more effectively.

This initiative represents a significant step toward enabling PSE SMEs to embrace the digital era, fostering resilience, sustainability, and impactful innovation.
